F.W. Azer, P.T., Founder

F.W.(Wil) Azer attended the University Cairo School of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt. He is a licensed physical therapist in Illinois and Michigan. He started his own practice, Azer Clinic, in 1982 with a focus on industrial rehabilitation, TMJ pain treatment, sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation.
He is a certified golf specialist for the Body Balance for Performance program. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the Galesburg Rotary Club. Azer Clinic was one of the first physical therapist-owned clinics in the State of Illinois.

Melissa Engebretson, P.T., President

Melissa graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago in 1992. She has experience with acute care, outpatient orthopedics and hospital administration before joining Azer Clinic in 2002. She is the President of Azer Health, PC and Director of Azer III, PC. Her clinical specialties include orthopedic and neurological rehab, balance programs (Pneumex Unweighting System and Anodyne programs), pre/post natal rehab and urinary incontinence treatment. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as a member of the Geriatrics, Women's Health, and Health Care Policy/Administrative Sections. She is an APTA credentialed clinical instructor.
